Made this guy today, I think I like the Line drawing better than the color so far. I've been playing Frozen Throne a lot lately can you tell? Just hope this doesn't attract too many furries.

been too long

man its been way too long since I posted anything here. I've been trying to re learn how to use Acrylics, its nearly been a year since I last used them and I've been slacking on my computer drawings. Poor form on my part. Anyways here are some new sketches. 2:30-3 hrs for both of them together.

I had nothing to do for 30 mins at work so I made some custom brushes and made this. I like the way the skin tone/lighting came out even if it is a little bloody, but her face has a weird expression. The eyes are to sleepy looking for her angry expression.

two or so hours on this one. Its a medieval meets ufo drawing. I guess shes some sort of a random wanderer who is ambushed by a ufo. I'll finish it later today or sometime I like the green red/orange color pallet I got going especially on the tree.

So this is what two more hours of hard toil on this image led to, I think its going into a good direction, though I cant tell if the fire guy is just a magical fire guy (or demon?) or if his heads exploding because of the giant ogre thing.

So today was the first time in a long time that I spent more than six hours on a painting, and oh my god it was sweet. I forgot how good something can look when you work that long on it, but the sad thing is I cant show it, the good thing is I made this after work and it only took and hour, but I'm planning on spending some more quality time with it tomorrow. Same goes for the other one.

Alright more stuff, but this time just practice stuff. A masters copy of Andromeda as done by Edward Poynter, this is about an hour or two into it and I think I'll add some more tomorrow. To be honest I never heard of the guy before but he's pretty amazing at this so I'll keep an out for him. And then there's a portrait of some guy that I just randomly found online, as practice so I don't always draw models and big muscular dudes.

Alright, I think I'll leave this piece where it is for now. Last things I added/changed the guy because I hated the way he looked before, his head was not correctly connecting to his body. This one is a little better. Also fixed up the clouds a little, to make them look nicer.

Alright so I have this blog and I finally thought to myself "hmmm i should really use this sometime" and so now i did. Good story. Anyways this is what I got done in 3-4 hours today and now I'm a little sick of it so I'll work on it more tomorrow hope you guys like it.
